A six-dollar Continental Currency note printed by Hall and Sellers on November 2, 1776. The note is signed by Benjamin Levy, one of only two Jewish signers of colonial notes. Benjamin Levy (1720-1802) was an American merchant and signer of the Non-Importation Agreement of 1765. He was also a friend and supporter of Robert Morris and Horatio Gates during the Revolutionary War.
