The document includes the original signatures of Simon Rosenbaum, Joseph Speyer, Sigismund Speyer, and Tilly Israel. Tilly Israel was the first female Jewish settler in Kalamazoo and the mother of Edward Israel, who died in the Arctic Exposition.
