Billhead from Bliven & Mitchell, located at 29 New Montgomery Street in San Francisco, California, dated September 3, 1885. The billhead is addressed to Adolph Sutro, who is noted as the builder of the Sutro Tunnel for the Comstock Lode and Mayor of San Francisco. The billhead features a lithograph of Seltzer and plain water bottles. This item is part of a larger collection of billheads made out to Adolph Sutro.

One-page letter written in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on March 7, 1848, from Moses Geisenberger to Philip Weitsel in Bedford Springs, Pennsylvania. Geisenberger encloses payment for a barrel of Bedford spring water and promises further explanation in person the following summer. The letter includes a "LANCASTER/Pa." cds postmark and a blue "5" rate handstamp.
