Subject: Urban Landscapes

Signed drawing by Albert Potter for his 1928 painting, "Barge Life, East River." The drawing shows signs of transfer to canvas, indicated by black on the reverse and pin pricks. This is considered an important companion piece to the final oil painting (see record 1.213). Created in 1928.

A stereoscopic photograph titled "New Orleans Scenery," captured and published by T. Lilienthal. The image depicts a street scene featuring buildings, trees, and decorative garden beds or planters with statuary. The reverse side lists numerous "New Orleans Views" available from Theo. Lilienthal, indicating a wide range of subjects photographed by the studio. The front includes the photographer's name and location (N. O., LA) printed vertically along the right edge.
