A two-page folio document, dated December 17, 1860, from the State of Georgia. This partly printed Civil War-era obligation bond details a military requisition for arms and accoutrements for the Resistance Light Artillery, a volunteer corps in Columbus, Georgia (75 men). The requisition is addressed to Governor Joseph E. Brown and signed by John R. Ivey, Captain Commanding. The bond is signed by Wiley N. Hutchins, Edwin W. Moise, William L. Salisbury, and John R. Ivey. The document is docketed on the verso by Governor Brown.
