The verso contains Landsberg's pencil-written response to Wise. Wise questions Landsberg's signing of a petition against him at the Cincinnati rabbinical conference. The letter includes Landsberg's response. Two pages. Written in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 10th, 1871 and Rochester, NY on July 13th, 1871.
