One-cent black/buff Liberty postal card (Scott UX5) mailed from San Francisco, California to Roseburg, Oregon on April 15, 1881, addressed to S. Marks. The card features a duplex cancellation with a barred elliptical killer. The verso displays a printed advertisement for Haas Brothers' Safeguard Oil, highlighting its 150-degree fire test and price of 22-1/2 cents per gallon.
