The document includes two sheets of lined paper, one bearing a Nevada fifty-cent revenue stamp and a U.S. internal revenue stamp. Attached is a Storey County, Nevada notary public form, completed and signed by Samuel Wasserman. The notary public form features an embossed seal for S. Wasserman, Notary Public. Wasserman also operated a store at Union and C Streets, selling cigars, cards, and alcohol.

The bill details a sale of goods including one box of candles, one box of caps, one fifty-pound box of powder, and 300 feet of fuse, suggesting a small order possibly for a single prospector. The description notes the difficulty in finding references to miners' candles and states that a box of candles cost $4.75.

Two billheads from June 1, 1876. One billhead is from Walter, Rosenthal & Co. in Silver City, Idaho, and lists general merchandise purchased. The other billhead shows purchases made by the Pacific Mill and Mining Company, Bacon Hill, from Walter, Rosenthal & Co. in Virginia, Nevada. Both billheads specify payment in gold coin and indicate a full assortment of mining and milling goods were available.

Assigned to Herman Cohen on March 5, 1888, witnessed by Jacob Ascher. The certificate was surrendered and canceled on March 15, 1888. The certificate indicates the location of the mine was in the Whitewood Mining District, Lawrence County, Dakota Territory.
