US Army Eagle Cuff Button, discovered via metal detecting in Globe, Arizona. Found near the Railroad Camp, a former US Army encampment active from the late 1880s to 1902, situated on the hills above Pinal Creek. The button features a custom backmark reading "LEVY / WEINSTEIN N.Y." This type of backmark, common on buttons from this era, was added at the customer's request as a form of advertisement. The button's backmark is not listed in Alberts' book on buttons. The discovery location suggests use during the Indian Wars era.
