Subject: East River (New York City)

Signed drawing by Albert Potter for his 1928 painting, "Barge Life, East River." The drawing shows signs of transfer to canvas, indicated by black on the reverse and pin pricks. This is considered an important companion piece to the final oil painting (see record 1.213). Created in 1928.
