Subject: Dwarfism

This 1874 pamphlet is a souvenir from P.T. Barnum's Great Travelling Museum, Menagerie, Caravan, and Hippodrome. It features engraved portraits of Admiral Dot (Leopold Kahn), a dwarf performer, and his mother. The pamphlet, priced at 5 cents, includes 16 numbered pages plus covers, advertising Barnum's Great World's Fair, and depicts various animals on the back cover. It's a first edition and a rare item; WorldCat lists only one other copy.
