Letter - Type written transcription of a letter by a researcher on a 6/13/1852 letter by Isaak Ederheimer to Rabbi Leeser ....circa 1900s New York Juni 13, 1852. Rev. Mr I. Leeser! Dear Sir! As I purpose to visit Europa in a few Weeks I was atvised (sic) by mine Relations here, to fetch my marriage certificat (sic), signed by the proper authoratys (sic), along with me, supposing all the time, that I got the same in my possession, I found by searching all my papers, that I been sadly mistaken, and I distinktly (sic) remembre (sic) now, that the same is in the Hands, of my Brother Jacob Dessan in Calafornia (sic), You therefore see the Neccesity (sic) of my applying to you, for a doublicate (sic) certificate, for wich (sic) you will extreemly (sic) oblige me, anny (sic) possible expense this may occure (sic), pleas (sic) Sine (sic) and state it to me, as I of course shall ??? the same, with the greatest thanks and pleasure. I suppose if the same is written in German, it would best answere (sic) the purpose; hoping that you enjoy good health and prosperity, and also that you will be not annoyed, at my taxing your kindness, I remain Sire, Your's Isaak Ederheimer my direktion (sic).
