This document is a detailed 1 page list of cargo at a value of 3059:17:6 Pounds. The cargo is bound for Madeira. The archipelago of Madeira is located 280 n miles from the African coast and 540 n miles from the European continent While not dated this document is clearly connected to two others in the Collection…placing the date in 1746. See other documents…This could very well have been Slave Trade voyage...a trip from the coast of Africa to the Indies was between 52-90 days depending on the location in Africa...the trip to Africa was a quicker voyage. At the end of a voyage, which shows the total earnings of each member of the crew. The crew was paid for about 4 months. The Molly was listed as a ship that at times was in the slave trade...given the 4 months pay and first destination it fits.
