Otherwise, send them to my home by express, 112 West 25: ST.. near 7th Avenue, but please write the address clearly. Unfortunately my speculation with my "Esther" did not succeed. You, too, did not want to support me properly. I shall therefore send you, tomorrow, the trans- lation for publication in the "Occident", where it will therefore appear(?) But I should like to ask that you stereotype it, but, in any case, to make of it a separate audition. You therefore need not make the "Occident" any larger. I have so much to speak to you about, but you are so often unapproachable. I heard that you were here last Sunday at a meeting of the Delegates. I ran with my old feet to Sternberger and no one knew about you. Here there is again a great todo (sic). In the Henry Street synagogue they want to imitate the Green Street synagogue and put the gentile dates on the gravestones. I am opposed and I have my reasons and my views. I shall also come in conflict with Wise on account of the burning of his heretical works. But I stand here like a lonely passage against Wise and Einhorn, you have translated exactly.
