The bill is for a one and a half year subscription, from November 1, 1859 to April 1, 1861, and is addressed to W. Kirkam of Westfall Township, Pennsylvania. The billhead features the newspaper's logo. Dr. Morwitz was a prominent publisher who eventually controlled over 300 periodicals, including The Jewish Record (1875-1886).
