Copperplate engraving map of French Guiana, part of Dutch Guiana (now Suriname), and northern Brazil. Created by Rigobert Bonne in 1780. Shows the "line of defense against the Negroes in revolt" in Suriname and the Jewish settlement of Jodensavanne. Published in Paris as part of the atlas accompanying Guillaume-Thomas François Raynal's Histoire philosophique et politique, des établissements et du commerce des européens dans les deux Indes.

A collection of lithographs depicting scenes from Surinam (Dutch Guiana) published in Brussels in 1839. The lithographs, by Pierre Jacques Benoit, illustrate various aspects of life in Surinam, including markets, shops, workshops, and interactions between Europeans and the local population. The work includes depictions of Jewish merchants and commentary on slavery.
